Lorraine Cassidy is a classical pianist and singer.
She has taught at the GRC and been involved administratively since 1986, as Administration Assistant, Bursar, Acting Co- Director, Acting Director, Deputy Director and currently holds office on the Board of Management as the Public Officer.
She holds the Associate Diploma in Creative Arts in piano from the Riverina College of Advanced Education, the Associate Diploma in Creative Arts (Music) in voice from TAFE NSW and the Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Teaching from the University of New England.
Lorraine has performed with St. Saviour's Cathedral Choir, the Argyle Society, and the Goulburn Consort of Voices.
In 2012, major performance highlights were singing in the chorus of the Melbourne Opera Company's production of "Carmen" and "The Italian Songbook: Fundraiser Concert".
She performs regularly with the GRC's "Verner Variables" choir and is an enthusiastic foundation member of the GRC's Senior Recorder Ensemble.
