Emma tutors students in practical flute at a range of levels and in preparation for AMEB examinations in accordance with requirements of the syllabus.
In 2011, Emma established a major private studio in Bowral, teaching high-level flute, music craft, theory and musicianship.
Emma's credits include recording the three CD's and book, performing in the world premiere performance of "Three Pictures for Linda", a work dedicated to Linda Vogt, for large flute ensemble was composed as a result of a grant from the Australia Council. The performers were hand picked from professional players and teachers in NSW. Players included Janet Webb, Dr Danielle Eden, Rosalind Plummer, Emma Scholl, Michael Scott, Alexa Still, Libby Pring, Paul Curtis, and Christine Draeger.
In October 2009, Emma was invited to attend the Australian Flute Festival in Adelaide, a bi-annual event, which attracts flautists from all over the world, and presented a lecture/demonstration on recent Australian Flute Music and a Masterclass.
Through arrangement with the Sydney Conservatorium Access Centre and the AMEB Emma took part as a guest teacher at the 2005 W.OW. (Winds Out West) Wagga Regional Conservatorium event where she held masterclasses for all standards, gave a recital and took ensemble classes.
