Lee completed a three year Acting Diploma in 1984 and was awarded the Teacher's Diploma Associate in Speech and Drama (ASDA) of the Australian Music Examination Board in 1985. In 1991 she successfully completed Trinity College of London, Trinity Guildhall examinations in Speech and Drama and was admitted as a Teacher, Associate (ATCL) of the College.
Lee's first teaching position was at St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill and afterwards at the Richmond School of Arts. In 1987 Lee established a drama studio at Robertson in the Southern Highlands and taught at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music for several years.
Lee has judged at Speech Contest finals, has been involved in community projects facilitating drama workshops for young people and has worked extensively with disadvantaged youth. Lee has facilitated personal development training to a number of corporate organisations.
As a performer, Lee has participated in film and theatre productions, including adult English language and literacy programs and is in demand to facilitate adult training programs.
Lee has a special interest in creative writing and encourages self-expression.
Lee has further developed her Speech and Drama professional skills with the Speech and Drama Association of NSW.
