Luke-WheeldonDip. Arts (Mus)., Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training

Luke began playing professionally at 16 and started teaching 3 years later while still studying. Luke has performed live over 1500 times since 1993 with a variety of acts including P Plan 9, DTOX and Jester. He still works with Jester today. In addition to teaching and live performance Luke has released 5 CD's of his own work with one, DTOX (1999), seeing an international release. He has also played on many other recordings as a session player throughout his career.

Luke is also an accomplished Live and Studio sound tech, a role he fills at the GRC for our live concert events and as the head tech at the Rock Con Studios. He has engineered and mixed dozens of recordings for release and has a regular client list for live engineering work including some of Australia's most popular Rock and Country National touring acts.

Luke plays and teaches Guitar, Drum Kit and Electric Bass. He believes that each of these instruments are still in their infancy, as relatively new tools, and that with creativity, the possibilities are infinite. This is something he tries to impart upon his students along with a deep love for creating music.
