Sandi began studying piano and dance at the age of 4. During her childhood she performed regularly on children's programs for both Channels 2 and 7 and at Her Majesty's Theatre as a singer and dancer. She continued her piano studies into high school and began Drama and Vocal training at age 10. At 16 she was introduced to the delights of Musical Theatre and has since performed in and directed/choreographed over 40 musicals and plays.

Sandi studied for her Dip Mus Ed at Alexander Mackie College and later completed a Grad Dip Arts (Educ) through Deakin University in the areas of Music, Dance and Drama.

She has also had extensive experience in stage management, sound and lighting, having worked in a variety of Sydney  theatres and for Musical companies. Sandi also had the exciting experience of coordinating the Fire Breathing segments for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2000 Olympic Games.

Sandi has also continued her passion for vocal performances and choirs, both as a member of the Sydney Philharmonia choir, performing with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and as a member of the Elementals, an a Cappella group based in Leichardt, with regular performances at the Basement, Camelot and various other venues around Sydney.

Sandi worked for 35 years as a teacher for the NSW Department of Education in the areas of performing arts., and has encouraged students' involvement in a variety of performance opportunities, eg Schools Spectacular, Regional and State festivals and Choral concerts and the Rock Eisteddfod. During her time as a teacher Sandi has trained singers, dancers and actors from year 7 to HSC level, both individually and as part of an ensemble and is passionate about the Performing Arts and its value to the development of the human spirit.
